The 7 otaku students of Kyoto Seika University, known as the first university for manga in Japan, is inviting you to a trip through the many aspects of Japanese culture, from times gone by until now!

Kyoto Seika Univerty’s students are ready to welcome you on their booth with many activities:
- À nous Kyoto: an exhibit showing photos of the students’ favorite spots in Kyoto
- Ema workshop: make a wish and write it on the ema traditional wooden planks
- Fukuwarai workshop: a traditional Japanese game, easy to play, which makes everyone laugh!
- Hanasaka Jiessan: come enjoy The Story of the Old Man Who Made Withered Trees to Blossom, a traditional Japanese tale
- Hakovision: your favorite manga character is singing and dancing in your hands!
- Election of the most beautiful Moe illustration: vote for your favorite Moe illustration created by a student from the manga department
- Cosplay fitting: try on the costume of your favorite character
- Photo exhibit : the students show the photos they’ll be taking of the festival

Yesterday’s and today’s entertainment: if there is one city that keeps the charms of olden times, it’s definitely Kyoto. The students of Kyoto Seika University introduce you to both modern and traditional Japanese culture. They also teach you how to play the traditional game of fukuwarai.
