A prodigy of animation, Takuya WADA became a professional animator as soon as he left high school and began with Lupin the 3rd. He soon became a key animator on Cat’s Eye, Space Cobra, and others. He had just turned 20 when he became animation director for Hokuto no Ken, Lupin the 3rd vs Detective Conan, Violence Jack… He also worked on mecha anime such as Patlabor, Special Armored Battalion Dorvack, or Machine Robo.
After the world of animation, he decided to conquer the cinema industry and learned make-up and special effect techniques in Hollywood. He used this new talent to freak you out in horror movies among which Ring is no doubt the most famous. He is also a lecturer and wrestling costume designer and all along kept working in animation.
